Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, Northern Italy. One of the most popular Murano Glass techniques is Aventurine glass, translucent glass with sparkling inclusions of mica particles. This vase is twin coloured with "gold mica inclusions"in the side panels of the piece.
