Untill the 1920's Burleigh primarily produced toiletware, but expanded its tableware ranges in the 1920's and 30's, and these are regarded as the firms Golden Years.The new handpainted and enamelled designs were very popular, with most patterns being designed by art director Harold Bennett. Charlotte Rhead was also employed by Burleigh from 1926 to 1931. This is a stunning example of classic Burleighware.
